Central Hub (GTA Region) Centralized Waitlist Information
In early 2020, Ontario Health Toronto Region (OHTR) had made an investment for immediate additional Long-Term Ventilation (LTV) bedded capacity in Toronto. The bedded capacity is shared across:
- West Park Healthcare (LTV and THV Beds)
- Michael Garron Hospital (LTV Beds)
- Toronto Grace Health Centre (LTV and RECOVER Beds)
A few important points:
- There is only one centralized waitlist for all three LTV sites which is held by West Park Healthcare Centre and accessible by RM&R.
- You do not need to send a formal referral to West Park, Michael Garron or Toronto Grace to have a patient placed on this waitlist.
- Beds will be allotted based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, specific bed availability, ICU capacity and time on waitlist. The LTV site will be in touch once they are ready to assess the patient.
- Participating hospitals can generate individual reports to track their referral status.
